This app is to help everyone under 18 facing sentence in criminal courts in England and Wales to understand whats going to happen and who can help.

The Howard League for Penal Reform is a national charity working for less crime, safer communities and fewer people in prison.

Research has shown that childrens contact with the criminal justice system is likely to increase offending. Law and guidance says children should get the least restrictive sentence and be involved in the process. This app developed by our team of specialist lawyers helps children understand the process. The Howard League has also produced a practical guide for adults supporting children facing sentence, available on our website.
